Zhang Xi , founder and head coach of this club, former Beijing and national synchronized swimmer, national athlete, who graduated from Capital Institute of Physical Education and Renming University of China. Zhang's qualifications include national master sportsman, first class synchronized swimming judge, ballet teaching certification, aerobics coaching certification, and certificate of Royal Academy Of Dance (grade 8 examination and presentation). She also won champions in national competitions, first place in 10th National Games, and medals in international matches. In 2007 national competition, Zhang led Beijing Synchronized Swimming team earned first place in team event, second place in duet event and solo event. In 2008, she coached aerobic exercises in Bolinhan Fitness Club. Later, she directed BTV Sports Channel - "Happy Exercise" program. In 2009, she wrote and directed plays for children - "Beijing Legend" and ballet "Swan Lake" at the Water Cube. Augus 2013, several members of the XIQISHUIYANG Synchronised Swimming Club put together a strong show at China Junior Synchronised Swimming Open 2012, they earned sliver on free routine with 59.250 points.
